As part of the celebration of 'Taste the Island' we are providing an overnight break where food is literally on our doorstep! Catch your fish and learn how to prepare and cook it, all on the grounds of Renvyle House Hotel, Connemara, Co. Galway
Renvyle House is a family owned, historic country house hotel situated on a 150 acre estate on the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. It has it’s own freshwater lake along with a coastline of 1km and a head chef who is a commissioner of Eurotoques.
While staying at Renvyle, on Monday afternoon you will have the opportunity to catch your own fish on Rusheenduff lake and learn how to prepare it. On Tuesday morning, after a visit to our kitchen garden to choose your accompanying salad leaves or vegetables, you will learn how to prepare and cook your fish and have that recipe to bring with you.
