Sales & Marketing Executive Position



Renvyle House Hotel is a four star, Connemara based historic country house resort which first opened as a hotel in 1883 and spectacularly located on the shores of the Atlantic amid 150 acres of estate. As part of the plan for enhanced growth and development, the resort has identified an exciting new opportunity to appoint a creative, dynamic and innovative individual to the above position.


Reporting to The Managing Director / Director of Sales & Marketing, this role can be "home" based and will encompass proactive sales and marketing across all geographic markets and segments but with particular focus on the domestic and international leisure guest. Extensive domestic, occasional International and European Travel is a prerequisite for this role.


Primary Role and Responsibilities:

To maximise all sales and revenue opportunities in the leisure market by producing new business opportunities and by providing effective account management to achieve agreed annual sales targets and to devise and implement a strategic digital plan to support the B2C leisure market which will include a communication strategy, database development and management.


The Successful Candidate will:

  • Have 2-3 years’ experience of sales, marketing and digital marketing, ideally in the hotel sector
  • Will have relevant third level qualification ideally in a hospitality, business, sales/marketing
  • Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Be energetic, dynamic and creative with a working knowledge of hotel reporting and systems
  • Full, clean driving licence
