We were delighted to revisit Renvyle House after several years since our last visit. We were thrilled to find that Renvyle House maintains the same unique and comforting charm but also noted the subtle and tasteful upgrades that have been made to furnishings and decor as well as the very tasteful and clearly recent upgrade to our bathroom, which was to a very high standard, modern, yet complementary of the style of the old house. The additional of hot tubs with a magnificent view out to the Atlantic was very much enjoyed. We also noted the provision of kayaks and other sporting equipment for guests which we fully intend to use on a return visit with our children. The food offering did not disappoint and we were delighted to see the extremely high standard of food quality, locally sourced and fresh produce, excellent friendly service is all still present in abundance. And that Renvyle breakfast is still legendary. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay. We will be back.

I absolutely enjoyed my recent stay at Renvyle House Hotel. From once you stepped inside the front door all the stress of the world disappeared. The staff were so efficient, helpful and kind. The food was fabulous and the surroundings were so beautiful. It was my first time to visit this hotel but I will definitely be back!

Renvyle house is the perfect getaway! The staff are so welcoming and kind - from check-in to check-out. Everyone in the bar and restaurant are top class and always make sure that you are well looked after. Marvin, Eoin, Tomas and Christina then in the restaurant at breakfast- each made the stay perfect and went above and beyond for all of us. There are lots of great walks around the grounds, places to read and the most amazing outdoor hot tub. The curlew theatre company perform weekly and we had the opportunity to witness a play by them in the library - definitely a highlight. Had the luxury of having a massage with Rose and she was so wonderful and made the space relaxing. It was a lovely end to the trip. Cannot recommend this place enough - the perfect family, couple or solo trip away! Book it in 2025.

Had yet another lovely stay and what made it better was we availed of a great offer. Food as usual was excellent.

I actually had intended to send an email to express my heart felt gratitude to every member of staff for the most wonderful stay we had with yourselves . The ambience , the quality of service was excellent . It was especially special to get to spend time with Anne Marie who made a huge effort getting to know us and making us feel so welcome. Thank you Anne Marie for an amazing experience at a unique hotel . We will be back in February and we are hoping to organise a time for our sons so that they too will enjoy the wonders of Renvyle . We used to go there every Christmas and summer when they were younger . I hope they continue that tradition when they have children please God. Le gach dea ghui

An old-fashioned (in best sense of word) Irish hotel, free of American tourists (we were the only two while we were there!)...friendly warm environment, easy to meet people in bar or sitting in front of turf fire...good extracurricular offerings, whether evening music or lecture on the Aran Islands...excellent food, both the breakfasts and dinners...friendly helpful staff...loved sitting in the two hot tubs with their spectacular ocean views...great location to visit Kylemore Abbey or to hike the Diamond Loops in Connemara National Park...we regretted being there only two nights!

All that was good about the ‘good old days’ coupled with everything that is great about modern comfort. There is nowhere else like Renvyle House Hotel. It gives you a wonderful unique experience from the moment you lift the latch and step in the door to the scent of turf. It’s an immersive experience until you reluctantly drive out the gateway on departure vowing to return as soon as you can.

I had booked a single room and got a pleasant room with very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. Had bar food which was excellent and good value. Breakfast was first class with loads of choices. The staff were very good and attentive and overall made the stay very pleasant.

Staying at Renvyle is like coming home to the best Irish household you would wish to live in. It fits you like the most comfort blanket, with 5 star service and Food, delivered by a team who care deeply about making your experience the very best it can be - I will most definitely come back again. Also I brought my dog who was welcomed in the same manner, she loved it too

A special place. My recent visit reminded me of previous stays many years ago. Same friendly relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff, good food etc. While looking for our room we encountered a lady who showed us where to go and then brought us outside for a walk to identify a special swimming location. Turned out she was the hotel manager. Will be visiting again when opportunity arises.
