Their team of equines are mostly home bred over-height Connemara Ponies and Irish Draught Horses, renowned for their gentle temperament, sure footedness and often quirky character.
Connemara Equestrian Escapes believe in offering riders the chance to lap up the peace and tranquillity of the breath-taking scenery of Connemara while in the comfort of the saddle of one of their surefooted Connemara ponies or Irish Draught horses
Riding packages vary from 3 to 7 days with bases both at Curra Farm on the shores of Lough Corrib where their horses have been bred for generations and Renvyle House Hotel & Resort. Connemara Equestrian Escapes offer the option of bringing your own horse on holiday or hiring one of their own for the duration of the trip.
While out of the saddle, the tailored itineraries ensure that riders finish each day with a total immersion into the depth of culture, heritage and traditions of Connemara.
